NYC
On my "Retreat" in New York City right now. Life for me right now is food, booze, basketball, music, and TV. I highly suggest everyone to watch Shameless and Californication. Entertainment on so many levels.
I also recommend Uniqlo for good/cheap clothing. Brooklyn industries came through w/ a t-shirt as well. "MMMMMaybach Music!"

LinSanity!
Okay. I gave in officially after the 23 point game against John Wall. But after he officially dropped 38 points on Kobe and the Lakers I bowed down for sure. Today Jeremy had 27 points with a game tying and 1 layup and a game #LINNING 3 pointer on the Toronto Raptors...Let the madness continue!

Rant on the New York Knicks new point guard, Jeremy Lin - 2/7/2012
So by now the Jeremy Lin bandwagon is full and more "FAN's" are trying to still hop on the bus. On 2/4/2012 J. Lin's stat line was 36 Minutes Played, 25 Points, 7 Assists, 2 Steals, 5 Rebounds, 1 Turnover. On 2/6/2012 J. Lin's stat line was 44:52 Minutes Played, 28 Points, 8 Assists, 2 Rebounds, 2 Steals, 8 Turnovers. I respect how he hustles and his defense is better than average, but I still do not believe Jeremy Lin is a legit NBA player. Let me make a few key points.
1. Let's just be clear, he did this on 2nd or 3rd Tier competition. The New Jersey Nets and Utah Jazz aren't exactly the NBA's elite.
2. If you really watch the games his competition has NO BBALL IQ! He ONLY goes right and has a suspect jump shot. So why wouldn't defenders sag off, force him left, and let him shoot jump shots? (think the Rondo defense)
3. He's a TOOL. Fan's go above and beyond what they should cheering for this guy. "MVP! MVP!"... Seriously? What a joke. This shows that fans are idiots. If he claimed himself as Chinese instead of Taiwanese he'd be voted into the All Star Game automatically every year by China votes.
Now while people may call me a Hater, I like to think I just tell it as I see it. I do acknowledge that he is better than last year. He's not as scared as he was last year and definitely carries himself with more confidence. When pressured he actually is physical back to players to get open. Finally, he definitely has impressed me with some circus acrobatic layups that he has made. If Jeremy Lin scores 8+ points on 2/8/2012 vs. The Wizards I have agreed to never talk bad about the man again (although it's against a 3rd tier team again). Until then, I will stand by my argument that Jeremy Lin should not be an NBA player. Below are two links to his two adrenaline infused performances:
1. 2/4/2012 vs. Nets
2. 2/6/2012 vs. Utah
